HTC Hero reviewed by Phonedog

Save to delicious Saved by 0 users

I really love this phone, and even though many sites have severe issues with it, some take a different view. I personally believe that both hardware and software may have to do with the Hero's lag, and I believe the software part to be resolved soon by firmware updates. In any case, head to Phonedog for a bit more optimistic approach to HTC's Hero.

Interesting thought concerning Zune's touchscreen experience and Windows 7

Save to delicious Saved by 0 users

Matt Rosoff is blogging about a quick hands on he had with the new Zune HD. He reports that the touchscreen is a breeze to use. This makes me wonder, if touchcreen optimization worked out this well on the Zune player, then maybe that promises an excellent touchscreen experience in Windows 7 when that comes out of beta too. I am not sure how well existing devices like the EEE PC T91 are doing in terms of touch experience, but Zune HD's debut this fall may be a really good indication of what's to come.

There are a variety of manufacturers out there that have netbooks coming powered by the Tegra system on a chip. A small module with a very strong processor capable of HD playback, and much more. It is a surprise that the buzz on Tegra has not fully come to live given the amazing things that it can do. In any case look out for Mobinnova's Elan soon! READ
